I’ve never kept a blog. I can’t even keep a diary.

My name is janet kenning. I have been a finalist in half the poetry contests in the country. I have won Arts Council grants and other awards. I have an MFA from the famous Iowa Writers’ Workshop.

I’m keeping this blog because of my friend Craig’s disappearance. I write all the time. Maybe I can turn these stories into a book. I have a job doing really cool stuff for a cool software program. I don’t really believe anymore that it’s what I’m supposed to be doing with my life.
